Cute and awesome.

Slinkachu creates tiny street art for people to discover. Lucky for us, he always makes sure to photograph it, too!
Shoot your own mini street people — all you need is a macro lens for your camera or phone. (And maybe a collection of Homies.)

Crafty white balancing tip! Steve places a coffee lid over his lens when he doesn’t have anything else handy.
(If you’re not into coffee lids, our white balancing lens caps are handy, too.)

Not that I’d normally be bothered enough to set custom white balance.

Food For a Dollar

Interesting article/photojournalism piece on NYT.

The project allowed him to ask questions about the things North Americans eat in a fast-food culture. Is this food? Just because we can put something in our mouths, does that make it food? At what point do we decide that something isn’t food?

On a side note, I’d like to learn strobe light photography.

Photographer #8: Raphael Mazzucco

(Raphael Mazzucco on the right, as part of Vogue Paris ‘09 photo shoot).

Raphael Mazzucco is a fashion photographer/art/music photographer from Vancouver, Canada who is now based in New York. He is well-known for his five consecutive Sports Illustrated cover shots (and the handbra photo of Marissa Miller).

On a side note, I love his tight, close-up shoots.
